Water Degumming Plant
To establish the difference between Water Degumming and Enzymatic Degumming one has to establish the existential issues with pure Water Degumming.
The inherent issues with water degumming include oil yield loss, higher cost of refining and the presence of undesired by products and waste in the refined oil. As we move into green fields projects the world over and products like Biodiesel become more prevalent the need for enzymatic degumming becomes imperative.
Unlike other chemicals, enzymes act on specific molecules belonging to specific impurities thereby increasing the precision with which oil can be refined.
With the advent of green field’s projects more and more companies are looking at possibilities that allow them to reduce loss and derive additional value off existing investments. Enzymatic Degumming as opposed to Water or Chemical Degumming is perfect for these applications.
Enzymatic Degumming Plant
The ENZYMATIC DEGUMMING TECHNOLOGY is Research, Developed by IICT (Indian Institute Of Chemical Technology) HYDERABAD. A subsidiary of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) under TMOP and M (Technology Mission of Oilseed, Pulses and Maize) Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. Of India.
We have done the TOTAL ENGINEERING of the ENZYMATIC DEGUMMING TECHNOLOGY and successfully implemented and commissioned the plants on commercial scale. The TECHNOLOGY is available with us. The enzymatic degumming process has significantly checked the CONTENT of PHOSPHORUS level in every oil.
Acid Degumming Plant
MUEZ-HEST provides a highly EFFICINT ACID DEGUMMING PLANT which involves few fallowing step.
- Heat the oil up to 60-70°C
- Add Phosphoric Acid and Mixing
- Hydration allow retention time
- Gums are separated by centrifuge
- Vacuum drying of Degummed oil
Non Hydratables gums requires use of acid to convert to Hydratables gums for complete removed of gums from oil.
This process is mostly followed by Alkali Refining with advantage to reduce the consumption of bleaching earth in bleaching section.
Water Degumming: Soybean Oil, Rice Bean Oil, Sunflower Oil, Rape Seed Oil
Enzymatic Partial/Full Degumming: Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, Rice Bean Oil
Dry Enzymatic Conditioning: Rice Bean Oil
Acid Conditioning: Soybean Oil, Rape Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil
Dry Degumming: Palm Oil
